Afstudeer werk getoond bij EuropaArtFair 2025
Na vijf succesvolle edities in de Gashouder in Amsterdam strijkt de @europartfair op 13 en 14 september 2025 voor het eerst neer in het MECC Maastricht. Een bijzonder onderdeel van de 2025-editie is de samenwerking met de Academie Beeldende Kunsten Maastricht (Zuyd). De nieuwe lichting afstudeerders krijgt een eigen expositieruimte op de beursvloer tot hun beschikking. Hier kunnen de jonge talenten hun allernieuwste creaties laten zien en ervaren hoe het is om aan een professionele kunstbeurs deel te nemen. 'Pak me dan'
Afstudeer presentatie
Wij zijn dertien Autonome Beeldende Kunst (Fine Arts) studenten aan de Kunstacademie in Maastricht. In juli studeren wij af in de vorm van een grote eindexpositie. Tijdens de tentoonstelling Pak Me Dan presenteren wij als jonge kunstenaars ons werk in diverse vormen van installaties, schilderkunst en textiel tot sculptuur, geluid, fotografie, video en tekst. De opening op donderdagavond 3 juli zal feestelijk worden ingeleid met een welkomstwoord en een drankje. Praktische informatie: Opening: donderdagavond 3 juli 2025 van 19.30 uur tot 22.00 uur. WOOF Twin City Arthouse Short Shorts Film Festival
WOOF is a short film festival featuring young artists. Together with The School Hasselt, presentation institution 'PAND Heerlen organises a thunderous afternoon with diverse offerings: films ranging from 3 minutes to 15 minutes follow each other in rapid succession. It will be an afternoon full of experimentation, but also recognisable cinematography; serious themes but also light-heartedness. Artists from far and wide as well as from Limburg will take the stage. The afternoon is offered by 'PAND Heerlen. For five years, 'PAND has been exhibiting young artistic talent in ever-changing locations. In the past, the institution did a mansion on Honigmannstraat, a shop building on Promenade, Maankwartier and set up an exhibition space as the neighbours of Café Bluff. Harvest
I was invited to participate in the new initiative 'Harvest'. I made an installative performance in the garden room for two weeks called 'the Archive' and my work is showed at Bureau Europa for three weeks. "In order to ensure that the work of our talented makers is still visible and to give them the opportunity to present themselves in the city of Maastricht, Editions Showroom and Fundamentals, in collaboration with Bureau Europa, the Maastricht Academy of Art and the Maastricht Academy of Architecture, are organizing 'Harvest', an annual multi-day event in which visual artists and designers present themselves in connection with the city, residents and visitors. During and around TEFAF, the doors of various Harvest locations are open to give an insight into the working methods - and/or the work of the many talents who are connected to the city of Maastricht."

Emerging Artist Unveiled
During TEFAF, I will be participating in the Emerging Artist Unveiled project. Various venues in Maastricht—including hotels, galleries, bars, and restaurants—will showcase young artistic talents (ages 16 through 30). These artists were selected through an open call promoted by local art institutions and reviewed by a professional jury.

After returning from my exchange program in Leeds (UK), I made an exhibition showing my first analogue photography works I made during my Film Making course.

Screening Drift
Together with the other film students at Leeds Art University we had a screening of the projects we worked on that semester/year. The screening took place at Hyde Park Picture House that plays an eclectic programme of films, from arthouse and independent movies to big new releases. It was a pleasure to watch all the works including my own documentary Drift and Urban Roots fashion film on the big screen.

Final presentation semester
At the end of the first semester of my third year, I created a retrospective exhibition of the work I made during that time and the process I went through. During my assesment, this was a space for conversations about the content and context of my work, how to present it and what it conveys.

Exhibition Hasselt
Together with some of my classmates, we organized an exhibition in Hasselt Belgium. Everyone could bring some of their work to show and we curated the works together into an exhibition. During this exhibition some of the works were also for sale and we sold work for the first time. It was a very educational experience to do this together.
