I have always been fond of math. It called to the analytic and rational part of my brain. I got diagnosed with autism a couple years ago. This explained my need for structure and planning, why puzzles and the truth in numbers fascinated me. 

In September I started a part time job for the first time since I was 15. The uncertainty and liability of a part time job made me reach for something simple and true. Even though I had probably only worked for one month I started working out how much I work and earn till the end of my 6 month contract. Trying to get a grip on my financial reality.
