I got to participate in this edition of the Europa Art Fair in Maastricht. With a couple other graduates we were able to show our work cost free with the help of Avotros

We are thirteen Fine Arts students at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts. In July, we will graduate with a large final exhibition. During the exhibition Pak Me Dan (Catch Me Then), we, as young artists, will present our work in various forms, ranging from installations, painting and textiles to sculpture, sound, photography, video and text. For my graduation project from Fine Art at the Maastricht Institute of Art, I build an installation with works spanning from the last 3 years of my studies. Showing my growth, diversity and the search for my artistic need.

WOOF is a short film festival featuring young artists. Together with The School Hasselt, presentation institution 'PAND Heerlen organises a thunderous afternoon with diverse offerings: films ranging from 3 minutes to 15 minutes follow each other in rapid succession. It will be an afternoon full of experimentation, but also recognisable cinematography; serious themes but also light-heartedness. Artists from far and wide as well as from Limburg will take the stage. The afternoon is offered by 'PAND Heerlen. For five years, 'PAND has been exhibiting young artistic talent in ever-changing locations. In the past, the institution did a mansion on Honigmannstraat, a shop building on Promenade, Maankwartier and set up an exhibition space as the neighbours of Café Bluff. The five-year anniversary will be cashed in with this afternoon at the Royal Theatre.

For two weeks I worked on this performative installation as part of Harvest, an annual multi-day event in which visual artists and designers present themselves in connection with the city, residents and visitors. I took on the roll of my alter ego B. Holder, the collector, the storyteller, the theorist.

During my time in Leeds as an exchange student I was able to create and show my first documentary 'Drift' at the Hyde Park Picture House

This was my first exhibition outside of the academy I studied at. Together with a few classmates we organised a small exhibition in Hasselt at Fax.
