Performance as an art form and subject had taken my interrest. When does a work become a performance? Sometimes the maker takes the body as a medium of the work. Other times it’s the change of an object over a period of time that makes it performative. I really wanted to make an installation performance. I came across a roll of old wallpaper with a 3d bulge effect. After some experimentation, I decided on cutting out the squares from the roll. I composed them on the wall of the room and during the presentation, I let people explore the space and their reflections. Touching the work was allowed.
